About the Fun Run/Walk
The Run for a Cause Fun Run/Walk is not just about the miles—we’re running and walking for hope, for life, and for a world where melanoma and breast cancer no longer take our loved ones.
This event was created in loving memory of Tom Sablich, who lost his battle with metastatic melanoma in 2017, and his sister-in-law Kim Wistner, who passed away from breast cancer in 2016. Both of them touched the lives of so many, and through this event, their legacies will live on.
We invite friends, families, and community members to join us at the Norristown Farm Park on September 13th to share stories, remember loved ones, and take part in a cause that means so much to all of us.

If you’re unable to participate in the event but still want to make a difference, you can donate directly to support melanoma and breast cancer research. Every dollar counts and brings us one step closer to a cure.

This event was born out of love and the desire to continue Tom and Kim’s fight against cancer. Tom’s battle with melanoma and Kim’s struggle with breast cancer left an indelible mark on their families and all who knew them. By coming together in their memory, we can ensure their legacies continue to inspire the fight for a world where cancer is no longer a threat.
